Suzuki recommends conventional 10w-40, but I own 2 and always run Penzoil fully synthetic 10w-40 with wet clutch protection.

The chain is size 530, and the stock gearing is 15/45, meaning that the front sprocket has 15 teeth and the rear sprocket has 45 teeth.
I have a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s with over 116k miles. Original clutch, have never had any engine work. Whenever I've checked the valves there have been only 2 or 3 that were .001 off. I change the oil every 2k miles and use MC oil. I ride year round in Northern Va.
under the seat on the left side, is a helmet lock. Place your key in the lock and turn it. That unlocks the seat. Then just pull back on the seat and it will come right off.
i dont know! yellow maybe
Yes and no, I have a 2002 bandit 1200s, it has a reserve switch to the left of seat... You need to switch to reserve by around 115 miles ridden or the bike will slow at throttle and shut off. It has a gravity feed hose below normal hose, that is reserve, just simply turn the knob "arrow up" and it will go to reserve.
Turn on the bike,Hold the 'select' and 'reset' button until the minutes start flashing (~4-8 seconds),Press the 'reset' button until you reach the desired minute reading,Press the 'select' button to switch to the hour,Press the 'reset' button until you reach the desired hour reading,Finalize by pressing the 'select' button.
