.The 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo brake caliper bolt size is 9/16. The brake caliper bolt can be purchased at most auto-parts stores
Remove yhe wheel and calapse the caliper with a screwdriver take out the two 15mm. bolts on caliper . Remove caliper. Pads will slide out don't take off holding clips put new pads in and two bolts back in put wheel on .
Take off Front 2 wheels behind the caliper you will see 2 bolts take off the caliper .. you need a special tool compress the caliper snap the new pads in lube them up and bolt back on the caliper ... easy as pie
As with all brakes, you'll need a wrench or ratchet and socket.

1) jack and support vehicle 2) remove wheel 3) loosen/remove brake line to caliper 4) remove caliper mounting bolts (2) 5) slide caliper off rotor Reverse procedure to install. 1) you will have to "bleed" air from the new caliper 2) pump brake pedal to set brake pads against caliper before operating vehicle
two bolts in the steering knuckle and the brake line are all that attach to the brake caliper
Tighten Caliper bolts to 25 Ft. Lbs.
