The bolt is usually a 13,14,15,mm or 1/2 or 9/16. There is only one way to get it off crank that wrench. Happy Wrenching.

The 1991 Pontiac Grand Am radiator drain plug can be found on the bottom of the radiator. The radiator drain plug will be in the center of the radiator bottom.

11 mm wrench socket. Ur gonna need to take out the left axle and exhaust pipe to clear for the alternator to come out thru the bottom.

To change the alternator in the truck, first disconnect the battery and then disconnect a plug that the alternator has on the right top of the alternator. Then there is a red cover that has a bolt and then unscrew that and then there are two more larger bolt, one on top and one on the bottom and then it should come out. But before you do all that take off the belt. Thank you

Disconnect the 1991 Regal battery. Remove the alternator belt and wiring. Unbolt the alternator and install the new one. Reconnect the wires, install the belt, then reconnect the battery.
