The most common sizes for lug nuts are 19mm and 21mm. 21mm lug nuts are generally found only on 3/4ton or heavier light trucks and very high performance cars. You 2010 Jeep Liberty uses 19mm lug nuts with a 12mm x 1.5 thread pitch.
The tire on a Jeep Liberty is changed by loosening the lug nuts, jacking up the vehicle, removing the lug nuts, and taking the tire off. A replacement tire or spare is then place over the wheel studs and the lug nuts tightened down.
