I have a 1997 Plymouth Neon. The way to replace the headlight bulb is: 1. open hood, and disconnect the wiring connector from the headlight bulb socket. 2. Turn the bulb socket retaining ring counterclockwise and remove the bulb and socket assembly. 3. Pull the bulb out of the socket assembly. 4. Reinstall the bulb and socket assembly in the light housing. Turn the retaining ring clockwise to secure the bulb in the housing.
Directions straight from the owner's manual. 1. Open the hood and remove the headlight assembly mounting screws. 2. Pull the headlight assembly forward to access the bulbs. 3. Turn the bulb assembly retaining ring counterclockwise and pull the bulb and socket assembly from the housing. 4. Remove the bulb from the socket and replace the bulb. 5. Reinsert the bulb and socket assembly and turn the retaining ring clockwise to secure the bulb. 6. Reinstall the headlight assembly.

how to remove lighter socket from 2013 dodge durango console
open the hood and look on top of the light. three screws right there , almost in a triangle 8mm socket should get it.
There are 2 large 7/16ths screws (both colored black), both on the top of the headlight assembly. Remove both of them, then pull the assembly out towards the front of the car. You might have to pull out on the bottom of the assembly first to remove it. Once the assembly is removed, look at the back of it...The Low beam bulb is the one closest to the yellow signal bulb. The other one, furthest away from the signal bulb is the high beam. Remove the wire clip from the bulb you want to change (you might have to use a small screwdriver to release the plastic catch). Once the wiring is removed, turn the light socket counterclockwise (looking at the back of the assembly) to remove the bulb from the assembly. Just reverse the procedure to put the new bulb into the assembly. When done, put the assembly back in place and replace the two long screws.
Used a 1/2-inch extension with a ratchet. No sockets. Depends on year of t-case, 10 mm allen, or 30mm socket
