7MM metric hex. Sears has them in the socket hex for $11. Get the long socket hex and cut it to size.
I got a 36mm deep socket at pepboys. I know my truck isn't metric but that did the job for me just fine.
It will be a metric socket. Just try different sizes until you find the right one.
It should be a 36mm socket.
Don't use a wrench, use a socket. It will be metric, so just try your metric sockets until you find the one that fits.
I think it is 5.5mm
Start by lifting the carpet out and removing the skid plate that holds down the carpet by the sliding door, there are 4 screws. then using a size 13 socket remove the 4 bolts under the seat. then you will find 4 more bolts on the side of the seat. using a size 16 metric socket remove those bolts. By now you should be able to slid the seat out. watch out its heavier then you think.
No, you cannot use a metrc socket on a standard socket wrench. These are two different systems of measurement and are not interchangeable.
If the standard socket does not fit, ( 5/8 ) then try and find another size to fit, even metric. This is the best to do, other wise, you will have to remove the head.
It takes a metric socket of either 13, 14, or 15MM.
Remove the ashtray and slide the panel beside where it was, to the right into the position where the ashtray was. This should then reveal the diagnostic socket.
I just changed the starter in my 2000, 3.5L, V6, Oldsmobile Intrigue. I am going from memory here but the sizes should get you fairly close. The starter is held on with 2 bolts. I used a 13mm (or maybe 11mm or 12mm) socket with a 12" extender to remove the bolts. There are 2 wires attached to the starter. I used an 8mm socket (but a deep socket, the kind of socket that is ~3" long) to remove the small wire. I used ~11mm socket (deep socket) to remove the large wire. Everything was metric. It was not an overly difficult repair. Wiggling the starter in and out of position was probably the hardest part. Remember to disconnect your battery before starting.
