C3 Picasso 2010 air filter change is not a big deal, no need to remove the wipers or drop the engine! First remove all of the plastic air and turbo intake tubes and the small engine cover, unclip the electical connection. Unscrew the three 4mm allen bolts on the top of the air filter housing (they are on the front and right hand side), I used a small 1/4" socket set driver, remove the air filter cover and remove the old air filter. Replace filter, refit cover and everything else in reverse order. Job done!

Now, standing at the front of the vue, with the hood open, look just to the left of the battery box and down. You should see the large socket cap. There is a notch in one of the intake hoses for you to get an extension on the socket. Unscrew that cap and remove the old filter. replace with the aftermarket filter CH9018(Fram) or equivilant. Make sure to change oil also, unless you are running extended service synthetic and only changing the filter.

Remove the plastic undertray from underneath the engine, and undo the plug bolt in the sump to allow the oil to drain out. Clean the oil filter (located in the front of the engine) and use an Allen key in the small plug in the centre of the bottom cover to remove the plug, allowing the filter casing to drain. Refit the plug into the filter casing, then use a 36mm socket to unscrew the filter cover and remove the paper element. Fit a new element and sealing ring, and reassemble in the reverse order :)
