Turtles can be cannibalistic. Adult and hatchling turtles should not mix. Also turtles with large size differences should be kept separate. A larger turtle would quite happily take a snap at a hatchling causing serious damage or death. So no, don't mix your baby turtles with your adults.
You're not suppose to, but i have a penny-sized painted turtle in with 2 huge red eared sliders. The pet store says they should be comparible in size. but go ahead
dude it depends on the turtle!!! and a baby turtles gonna get to be the size of an adult turtle A baby turtle is about 1-3 inches. An adult turtle let's say red ear sliders are about 10 inches or bigger.
Although sea turtles at hatching are seldom more than an inch or two in size, some species can grow very large. "Leatherback" turtles can reach an adult size of 6 to 7 feet (2m).
Yes, turtles are very cannibalistic. Adult turtles will chase down and eat baby turtles sharing their tank because of their small size. To a adult turtle a tiny turtle is just so tempting to chase, then when they get up to it they just have to bite it! When they realize that they could eat it then they will. An adult turtle may also bite and eat a baby turtles legs while they are basking.Although "fellow" turtles are not part of their regular diet, turtles can fight and be aggressive with each other, snapping and biting at heads and limbs. There have been accounts of limbs and eyes being lost. Obviously, they can't eat through the shell. But they are omnivores and meat is meat.
About a 20 gallon tank.
Well, red ear sliders can get 14 inches while map turtles at the largest are around 8 to 10 inches. Have two large ponds in Florida and have six turtles. Soft turtles can get huge and grow to the size of what environment they are living in. Have one in its own pond almost two feet round.
no im 11 and i should have a 32 adult size well not SHOULD but that's my size lol
the biggest the can get is 2.5 meters as an adult the biggest recorded was 3.5 meters
The size of the prostate depends somewhat on age, but in general the prostate for an adult should be about the size of a walnut.
depends on how big your head is!
You can but they might eat it, if it is brand new. I would wait until the baby has gotten big enough to defend itself (so around the same size as at least the smallest parent) just to be safe.
