There were 2 different wheel sizes installed on the 2004 Jeep Liberty. If you have 16 Inch wheels then the correct size tire for your vehicle is a 235/70-16. If on the other hand your Jeep is equipped with 17 inch wheels then you need 235/65-17 tires installed. Stick with the OEM size.

Where is the Tire Jack supposedly located on the 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport?

The jack and tire iron in the Jeep Liberty is located under the right rear seat. There is a large knob, easily visible, when you look in that area. Turn it counterclockwise to release the jack and tire iron. On my car the knob is very hard to turn. It think this answer would apply to all Jeep Liberty's.
