"Kraut" -- an old term probably from WW1. "Teds" was a term used by the British serving in Italy as "Tedeschi" is the Italian word for "German".

Primarily the word was Yank or Yankee. (Brits do not see the north/south thing) 'Overpaid, oversexed & over here' illustrates the feelings some had about the American military in UK.
