They're called browsers, Web Browsers, or internet browsers.
There is more than one type of program for accessing the internet; personally I use Internet Explorer.
A browser is required to access the Internet.
Internet explorer(6/7/8/9)
IP adress wifi or a modem (stick)
BROWSERS; web browsers are software applications that allow the user to locate and display Web pages.
Technically, yes. You can type some complicated code thing into your computer and "access it". But nobody could really understand it, so the answer is no. You need Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox to browse the internet.
The internet is a huge wide area network made up of smaller nertworks that are linked together like a spider web.Inorder to connect to this nertwork one needs to have the following a computer,Modem and Telephone line or a data line,Web browsing software,Internet connection and an Internet service provider(ISP).
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
COMPUTER,TELEPHONE LINE,MODEM,NETWORKCARD
COMPUTER
The computeris essential as it is the one that holds the internet protocol (IP)address that allows it to be reached on the internet. The IP address is a number that creates a unique address for the computer within the network
MODEM
Modem (Modulator/Demodulator) is a device that takes a digital signal from the computer, converts it into an analog signal that the chosen carrier (egphone line) can recognize and transmits the signal through the phone line to another modem that is connected to another computer. The receiving modem then converts the analog signal back to its original digital format then sends it to the computer for processing. Depending on the speed of the modem, the transmission could be fast or slow. Most modems today transmit at speeds of up to 56K or 56Kbps. If there is more than one computer a router may be used that is a device that splits requested data to each computer. The splitting of the signal can be achieved through network cables that go from the router to each individual computer or, as it has become increasingly popular in recent times, in a wireless fashion. If there is only one computer this device is not required. Sometimes a gateway is used instead of a modem and a separate router. a gateway is a multi-use device that includes a modem and a router, all in one. So it can take the internet signal , demodulate it, and distribute it to more than one computer, wired or wirelessly.
NETWORKCARD
THE computer must have a network card to be able to plug a network cable coming from the modem, router or gateway (or a wireless network card to receive the wireless signal if the router or gateway is capable of supplying a wireless signal). The only exception to this is if a dial-up is being used, since there are internal modems that are in the computer and that will connect straight to a phone jack through a normal telephone cable for internet connectivity.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
BROWSER,
Inorder to connect to the Internet two lots of software are needed. The first is the software that connects the user to the Internet Service Provider (ISP)fore example ECONET,TELECEL,POWERTEL. This type of software is different for each ISP. Some Internet Service Providers will give a disk with the connection software on it. Other Internet Service Providers will use the connecting software that comes with the operating systems Windows 95, OS7 and OS8. They issue out the settings to put into this software.
BROWSERS
A web browser is a program designed specially to display text and graphics on the screen. The browser reads the HyperText Markup Languag(HTML) code embedded on the page and, as any application does, runs whatever the code references. The result is the information seen on the display or heard from the speakers. For example, if the HTML code references a form, a form will be displayed on the monitor. If the code calls for a JavaScript code to be executed, the resulting action will be viewable on the screen to see.The two most popular and commonly used browsers are Netscape Navigatorand Microsoft Internet Explorer. These browsers also provide the software for e-mail and to read Usenet newsgroups. Other examples of browsers are are Opera ,mozilla fire fox,and safari
in conclusion for all the obove mentioned hardware devices and software programs to actualy connect to the internet the must be a connection.A connection refers to the the ability of a network line of two or more computers to share a single Internet connection.

it's called an internet browser
(e.g. google chrome, internet explorer, mozilla firefox, rockmelt, safari, opera)
Web browser
The internet management software provides reduced security threats, price customization and self maintenance. It also has real time monitoring and real access to capture pictures of internet misuse or violations.
While you may be taking internet access for granted and consider it unimaginable to use a computer without it, the truth is that an internet connetion is not - nor ever was - required for you to be able to use your machine. You would obviously be unable to use software that requires internet access - this includes all e-mail software, instant messengers, web browsers and filesharing programs - as well as any form of online multiplayer in games or any games that use online-only DRM (examples would be Diablo III, Assassin's Creed and any games that rely on Valve's Steam platform). Additionally, you would be unable to download software, patches or updates from the net - although there is nothing that prevents you from getting them using removable media (external hard drives, flash memory sticks, optical discs etc) to copy them from a machine that has internet access. Any software that does not rely on internet access as part of its' basic functionality would remain unaffected. On the bright side, you would be quite a bit safer from malware. TL;DR: Same way people have been doing it for over two decades before internet access became commonplace.
Anyone with internet access can create a website.
A computer shop - sells hardware (computers, mice etc) and software (games, windows etc). An internet cafe - is a place that provides access to the internet via their own machines for a small fee.
A firewall is a combination of software and hardware that helps prevent unauthorized access to a system through the Internet. Modern Windows OS's feature an inbuilt firewall.
Internet browser!
internet connection
A browser is one type of software that is necessary to be able to access the World Wide Web. Internet Explorer is an example of a browser.
Access to software produced for access to the Internet requires a browser for searching the Internet from the computer desktop.
When firewall blocks internet access you can cancel this function or reinstall your antivirus software.
There are quite a few things needed to access the internet. You must first have a source of internet available.
No actual fax software is required to start an internet based service. The internet service provides all of the required services that you will need.
To access the internet, one need to have any browser like internet explorer, firefox, chrome etc. and a software related to device(like: any usb dongle) that is used to connect the system to internet, if used.
It is the ability to access important software while outside of where the servers holding the software actually is located. it Can be used through the internet.
Sort of. Access to the internet is provided by an ISP (internet service provider) and a network technician's job is 1. to determine if your business is able to access the internet and 2. connect the proper cables to provide access to the internet.
