The first thing to do is increase how much water you drink, before you start any activities. This will absolutely boost your results all accross the board.

That being said, in my experience Jogging is hands down the best activity for weight loss. You sweat, you burn calories, you tone and tighten all kinds of muscles, and it yields excellent results. But be careful, DO NOT start out jogging more than you can handle. The key is to start slow, literally jog slow. It is very common to have trouble with jogging simply because it is a mindset that jogging needs to be fast to be effective. It is more effective fast, but if you start over what you can handle you will either injur yourself or make yourself so sore you won't be able to jog again for several days.

Depending on where you are at physically, you may think it impossible to jog even half a mile. But make a conscious effort to jog very slow, and i guarantee you will be surprised at the distance you are able to go.

Exercise like this yields great results while actually being done, but the added benefit is that your body will continue to burn calories at a higher rate for hours after you are finished.

If you have trouble with joints or knees or things of the like, try biking. Biking is much easier on your body, the results can be excellent here as well, but you will have to greatly increase the distance you go. If you would jog half a mile, you would have to bike farther to get the same results.

Another great exercise is swimming. If you are swimming for the purpose of working out, you will be surprised how hard your body works to do this. The results here can be as good or even sometimes better than jogging. The problem with swimming is that it tires you out much faster, and thus decreases the amount of time spent exercising. Whereas if you jog a mile out, you have to walk that mile back.. and the more time you spend the better.

Lifting weights is great too. Your body will consume calories and energy sources to both lift the weights and replenish your muscles afterwards. Like I stated before, exercises like this will help burn calories for hours afterwards.

Final note: Whatever exercises you do, a great thing to do is eat fruit in your daily diet. Fruit and Vegetables actually. They contain natural proteins and other ingredients that will help rebuild your muscles. It will decrease how sore you are, keep you healthy, and increase your results.

Stay away from pasta, sugar, and too much bread. Cereal is typically a poor choice when trying to lose weight as well.

There isn't a specific sport that helps you to loose the most weight, and it also depends on which parts of the body you want to loose weight.

For example if you would like to loose some weight and fat in your stomach, then you should do exercises that wear you out and you should do lots of jumping and moving around , so running and stuff like jumping would help.

So maybe cross country,swimming and trampolining would be the best.

Also if you want to loose weight you have to exercise a lot and eat less, but eat healthier, you should spend more time exercising than eating, or watching tv, or something un-active.

To loose fat in your thighs or legs, you should do lots of cycling, running, trampolining or jumping also you should stretch or do some yoga too.

To loose fat in your face you should eat less, and run more so that when you run- your face will kind of move around and exercise a bit, so you would loose weight and fat, also try to eat less fat foods

First off, the most important thing for weight loss is to get your eating under control.

If you're overeating is almost impossible to exercise hard enough to lose any important amount of weight that way.

One cupcake's worth of calories takes minutes to eat, but can take one hour to use up, and then you're only back to where you started that day. To actually lose any, you'd need to keep going.

Second thing is that your body doesn't really care what you're doing, only how hard you go at it , and for how long.

All activites that gets your heart rateequally up for equally long will burn pretty much the same amount of calories.

So you want to strike a nice balance between intensity and duration. Basically, try to go as hard as possible, and still be able to keep going for at least 45 minutes. Longer is better, but you want to stay where you are fairly winded and sweaty.

Run, Run, Run. If you can't run walk fast. Running is the best sport because it is low cost and you don't have to rely on anyone to do it, although a running partner would be good it is not necessary. Hope that helps.

I don't think there's necessarily a specific sport that helps you loose weight but just any sport that uses lots of parts of your body should help you with that (and just having a healthy lifestyle). I do Cheerleading, Basketball, Field Hockey, and cross country/track so I'm very very active. Also lately I've been outside and i found this thing in my garage and i had no clue what it was so i was like figuring out how to use it and my neighbor came out and he was like "umm..... do you need some help?" and i was like "umm.. yeah i don't really know what this is or how to use it" so he showed me and its called a ...................... SKIP IT! (if you don't know what it is google it and you'll see). Its really fun and I've only been using it for 2 months and I've list 2 inches off my waist and 1 inch off my thighs. I'm not fat at all like my hips are 30 my waist is now 22 and my thighs are 15 (if you're wondering i wear a size 00 at abercrombie&fitch that's the only place i can find that i fit in their jeans). I honestly think that if you don't do any sports you could just use the skip it, jump rope, and go jogging or walking every day... and eat good foods too to be skinny (that's what one of my friends does like she does basketball and cheer with me but that's it and shes really skinny like me and she doesn't really pay any attention to what she eats but shes still really skinny and she doesn't even have cellulite neither do I but I'm just saying you don't need to be extremely active to have a healthy lifestyle and be skinny. Track and Field, soccer, and basketball because you are constantly running up and down the field, court, or around the track. I would prefer to do track because you have multiple activities to do, such as throwing the javilan, and doing the hammer throw.
