What started global warming?
The emission of greenhouse gases, mostly carbon dioxide, primarily through burning of fossil fuels, enhanced the natural greenhouse effect and began making the earth warmer.
Global warming has already started, as shown by the rise in sea levels and warming in global temperatures.
Yes. Global warming is not just something scientists predict to happen in the future - it is already happening now. The last ten years were the warmest since instrumental records began in 1850. The more severe consequences of global warming may still be off in the future, but global warming has started.
Global warming is both a natural process and a human induced process natural global warming started which the formation of the oceans resulting in water vapour trapping heat. Human induced global warming occurs mostly after the industrial revolution when fossil fuels became heavily used and burnt releasing stored co2.
1000 years ago there was no global warming, just the normal warming of the earth by the sun. Global warming started when we discovered fossil fuels and started burning them seriously, at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, about 250 years ago. This burning released age-old carbon dioxide that had been hidden underground for 300 million years. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, so extra gas in the atmosphere captures more heat, and this is…
True global warming does not decrease temperatures. So, either the model for global warming's effects is hokus-pokus, or global warming as presently claimed, does not exist. Some global warming followers will have you believe that global warming makes the weather "act crazy". If true, then it is not really global warming, is it.
Global warming has already started. If we stopped carbon dioxide emissions today, there is still enough additional greenhouse gases in the atmosphere to continue warming for some years. We can prevent the worst case of global warming, but governments have to take serious action first to reduce, and then to ban carbon emissions altogether.
Everything continues to global warming. You breathing, contributes to global warming. Me typing this response contributes to global warming. Toilets contribute to global warming because they are a manufactured product. Anything Manufactured requires energy and materials , all of which contribute in some way, even if minor to global warming.
"Climate Change" and "Global Warming" are not the same, though related. Global Warming causes Climate Change. With Global Warming we understand the warming of the earth's global temperature. That warming has in turn an effect on the earth's global climate and on more localized climates (like the climate of England or Western US).
I do not think that global warming is a myth. There are some who debate the reality of global warming, and others accept that it is happening but deny that humans are substantially responsible for global warming, but these debates simply prove there must be something to it. Global warming is no myth.
global warming has started because of population of the o-zone layer are our world and many scientist think that the world might end IN 2012 "population of the o-zone layer" and "many scientist think that the world might end in 2012" Come on what kind of gobbledygook is that? Globan warming and global cooling are natural cycles caused by sunspot activity and other natural factors.
