place your hand on the top radiater hose fallow it to the engine, remove the hose. the fiting that hose was on is the thermostat housing remove it and and then the thermostat. note how it looks as you remove it replace it with new one exactly the same way.

This is not an easy one to do. If you have nibble fingers, patients and the right tools you can do it. Removing the air filter box off the throttle body and out of the engine compartment will give you a little needed elbow room. One of the two bolts will be a challenge to get to but it can be done. With bolts removed you can wiggle out the thermostat housing to expose the thermostat. Install in reverse order.
