The Southern District Courthouse of Manhattan is at the Foley Square Courthouse, at 500 Pearl Street, New York, NY, 10007.

First, you need to get into the subway system. The A-C-Eline stops at 42nd Street-Port Authority, and there is an underground tunnel connecting the 42nd Street-Port Authority Station to the 42nd Street-Times Square Station. Follow the tunnel to the Times Square Station.

At the Times Square Station, get on the S shuttle train, east across 42nd Street, from Times Square (West 42nd) to Grand Central Station (East 42nd).

At Grand Central Station, transfer to the Downtown 4-5-6(the dark green line) to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station. It is preferable to take the 4 or 5, instead of the 6, as the 4 and 5 are express trains and will get you there much faster. It's only two stops on the 4 or 5 trains: 42nd Street-Grand Central ---> 14th Street-Union Square ---> Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. The 6is a local train, so there are many stops between 42nd Street-Grand Central and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.

You will exit the subway on Park Row. You need to walk Uptown. The traffic on Park Row runs Downtown, so, start walking in the opposite direction of traffic. After a very short walk (like, 250 feet), you will reach a fork in the road, where Park Row splits into Federal Plaza (on the left, west side) and Centre Street (on the east, right side). Take a RIGHT onto Centre Street.

After you've walked about 200 to 300 feet up Centre Street, you will reach the intersection of Centre and Pearl Streets. Make a RIGHT onto Pearl Street, and walk about 500 feet, until you reach 500 Pearl Street.

It depends on whether you're going to the north end of Court Street, or the south end, or somewhere in the middle.

If it's the north end (around Borough Hall, in the Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood) then you can take the Downtown A or C (of the A-C-E, the blue line) from 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal to Jay Street-Metrotech, which is at or near the intersection of Jay Street and Willoughby Street. Walk one block south on Jay Street to Fulton Street, turn right, and then walk 3 blocks west on Fulton Street to Court Street. Fulton Street becomes Joralemon Street at Adams Street, and the next block after Adams Street is Court Street.

If it's the middle or south end of Court Street (the Carroll Gardens neighborhood), then take the Downtown A, C or E from 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal to West 4th Street, in Manhattan. Transfer at West 4th Street to the Downtown F (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line), and take the F to Bergen Street (at Smith Street) or Carroll Street (also at Smith Street). Then walk one block west to Court Street.

The Bergen Street station is about 10 blocks north of the Carroll Street station, and the Jay Street-Metrotech station is 8 or 9 blocks north of the Bergen Street station.

How from Hoyt do you get to 225 Cadman Plaza East Brooklyn 11201 by the subway?

By "Hoyt," do you mean Hoyt Street, or the Hoyt Street station, or the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street station? If you're referring to the subway stations, then I would just walk. It's less than 1/2 a mile. Walk west on Fulton Mall, Livingston Street, or Schermerhorn Street to Court Street. Turn right on Court Street, and walk north. After a few blocks, Court Street will turn into Cadman Plaza West. Keep walking up Cadman Plaza West. When you reach Clark Street, turn right, and walk east across the Brooklyn War Memorial Park to Cadman Plaza East. The address 225 Cadman Plaza East is pretty much exactly where Clark Street is.If you really want to take the subway, then take the Uptown 2 or 3 trains, 2 stops, from Hoyt Street (at Fulton Mall) to Clark Street (at Henry Street). Walk east on Clark Street, across Brooklyn War Memorial Park, to 225 Cadman Plaza East.If you're coming from the south end of Hoyt Street (not near the Hoyt Street stations), then take the Uptown F train, 3 stops, from Carroll Street (at Smith Street, the next block west of Hoyt Street) to York Street. The F to York Street will drop you off on Jay Street, near the corner of Jay and Sands Streets, on the west side of the Manhattan Bridge.Walk north on Jay Street to Prospect Street, turn left, and walk west on Prospect Street to Cadman Plaza East. Then turn left, and walk south on Cadman Plaza East to 225.

Does the J train go to 14 Boerum Place in Brooklyn?

No, the J doesn't stop anywhere near there. Instead, you can take the J to Chambers Street in Manhattan. This station is connected to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station on the 4-5-6 (the dark green line), so you can transfer between the J-Z and 4-5-6 without exiting the subway system.Take the Downtown 4 or 5 from Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall to Borough Hall. The Borough Hall station on the 4 and 5 is at the south end of Columbus Park, on Joralemon Street, between Court Street and Adams Street/Boerum Place (Adams Street becomes Boerum Place at Joralemon Street).Walk half a block east on Joralemon Street (in the opposite direction of traffic) to Adams Street/Boerum Place. Turn right, and walk half a block south on Boerum Place to #14, between Joralemon and Livingston Streets.

Where can you transfer to the N train from the 3 train in Brooklyn?

You can transfer to the N train from the 3 train(or from the 3 train to the N train) at the Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street Station.HOWEVER, the 3 train does not stop at the Atlantic Avenue station from 11:30 PM to 6 AM.The only other option I could find requires you to transfer from the 3 train to the R train to the N train.Take the 3 train to Borough Hall-Court Street, and transfer to the Downtown (Brooklyn-bound) R train. Take the R train to 36th Street, and then transfer at 36th Street to the N train. But again, this route will not be possible from 11:30 PM to 6 AM, as neither the 3 nor the R stop at Borough Hall-Court Street during those times.See the Related Link below for a complete New York City subway map.
