The B (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) and the Q (of the N-R-Q-W, the yellow line) to Avenue M (at East 16th Street).

Note that the B runs only on weekdays from 6 AM to 11 PM. Also, on late nights and weekends, the Q runs only as far Uptown as 57th Street, skipping the 49th Street stop (which is the stop between Times Square and 57th Street).

Also, the Avenue M station is undergoing construction, so there is no northbound (Manhattan-bound) service. So you can take the B or Q to Avenue M from Manhattan, but to get back, you'll have to walk up East 16th Street to Avenue J, and board the train at the Avenue J stop (or, walk down East 16th Street to Kings Highway, between Avenue P and Avenue R, and board the train at the Kings Highway stop).

The L train (color code grey) runs east-west and west-east across 14th Street. Its eastbound route begins at 14th Street and 8th Avenue. It runs east across 14th Street, and then under the East River and out to Canarsie, Brooklyn. Its westbound route begins in Canarsie, Brooklyn. It travels west across Brooklyn, through Williamsburg, and then under the East River and across 14th Street to the west side of Manhattan (14th Street and 8th Avenue). In Manhattan, you can catch the L train at the following stations (in order from west ---> east): 14th Street and 8th Avenue, 14th Street and 7th Avenue, 14th Street and 6th Avenue, 14th Street and Lexington Avenue (the Union Square Station), 14th Street and 3rd Avenue, and 14th Street and 1st Avenue. 14th Street and 1st Avenue is the last stop in Manhattan, before the L goes to Brooklyn. The first four stops the L makes in Brooklyn are all in the Williamsburg neighborhood: Bedford Avenue, Lorimer Street, Graham Avenue, and Grand Street are all in Williamsburg. What train you take from Brooklyn to go to 69 Leonard Street?

It's impossible to give useful subway directions from "Brooklyn." Brooklyn is almost 100 square miles in area, and it is crisscrossed by a dozen different subway lines. Without knowing where in Brooklyn you are, it's impossible to know which subway lines are near you. Without knowing which subway lines are near you, it is impossible to give directions. Please ask another question and specify an exact address or cross street in Brooklyn, or at the very least, a neighborhood.Otherwise, the best I can do is tell you what the closest subway stations to 69 Leonard Street are. However, there is a 69 Leonard Street in Manhattan, and another in Brooklyn. I'm assuming it's the Manhattan one, but if not, then again, ask another question and include that information. The closest subway stops to 69 Leonard Street in Manhattan are the:N-R-Q (the yellow line) to Canal Street (at Broadway)J-Z (the brown line) to Canal Street (at Centre Street)A-C-E (the blue line) to Canal Street (at 6th Avenue)1-2-3 (the red line) to Chambers Street (at West Broadway)4-5-6 (the dark green line) to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall (at the corner of Chambers and Centre Streets)

There are many different subway stations at 14th Street: one at 8th Avenue, one at 7th Avenue, one at 6th Avenue, one at Lexington Avenue, one at 3rd Avenue, and one at 1st Avenue. The L line stops at all of them: the L line runs west/east and east/west along 14th Street, from 8th Avenue and West 14th across to 1st Avenue and East 14th, then under the East River, and out to Canarsie, Brooklyn. At the 8th Avenue Station, you can catch the L, and the A-C-E line (the blue line), which runs from the northernmost tip of Manhattan all the way out into Brooklyn, to Far Rockaway and JFK airport.

Does the R train go to 60th Street in Brooklyn?

The closest subway stop is the New Utrecht Avenue-62nd Street Station on the N (of the N-R-Q, the yellow line) and the D (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line). Although, actually, these are two connected stations, the 62nd Street Station on the D train and the New Utrecht Avenue Station on the N train. The 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue Station is located near the center of 60th Street. New Utrecht Avenue runs diagonally, and cuts through 65th to 60th Streets between 14th and 15th Avenues. If you are coming from the far west or far east end of 60th Street, and you don't want to walk to the center, you can take the Nfrom one of the surrounding stations.Besides 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue, you can take the N from 20th Avenue (between 64th and 63rd Streets), 18th Avenue (between 64th and 63rd Streets), Fort Hamilton Parkway (between 10th and 11th Avenues and 62nd and 61st Streets), 8th Avenue (between 7th and 8th Avenues, at 62nd Street), or 59th Street (at the corner of 59th Street and 4th Avenue).

Which subway do you take to the Chabad Synagogue in Brooklyn?

There are a few listings for a Chabad Synagogue in Brooklyn. The Facebook page for Chabad Worldwide Synagogue in Brooklyn gives an address in the Crown Heights neighborhood: 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY, 11213. If this is not the address you're referring to, then please ask another question and specify an address. The closest subway station is the Kingston Avenue station on the 3 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line) and 4train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line). This is half a block from the synagogue, which is on Eastern Parkway between Brooklyn and Kingston Avenues.Note that the 3 train does NOT stop at Kingston Avenue from 11:30 PM to 6 AM, and the 4 train ONLY stops at Kingston Avenue from 11 PM to 6 AM.

Does seventh Avenue and eighth Avenue subway from Times Square stop at Lincoln Center?

The 1-2-3 (the red line) stops at 42nd Street-Times Square (at 7th Avenue), and the 1 train stops at 66th Street-Lincoln Center (on Broadway). The 1-2-3 is called the 7th Avenue Line, although it only runs up and down 7th Avenue for a short distance (Christopher Street-Sheridan Square, at West 4th Street, to 42nd Street). The A-C-E is called the 8th Avenue Line, but it does not stop at 42nd Street-Times Square. It stops at 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal, one block west of Times Square. There is a pedestrian tunnel connecting the two stations, so you can transfer from one station to the other without exiting the subway system. Nevertheless, they are two different stations. The A-C-E/8th Avenue Line runs up and down 8th Avenue for the majority of its route in Manhattan, but not all of it (keeping in mind that, although it runs up and down Central Park West for awhile, 8th Avenue and CPW are the same avenue. The portion of 8th Avenue that borders the park is called Central Park West).Although, actually, the E veers east and goes to Queens after 50th Street, so it's only the A and C that run up and down 8th for most of their Manhattan route.
