It can if your sensor is hooked up to your fan. What happens is that the signal from the temperature sender turns your fan on, or doesn't if it's not working. If your fan isn't turning on when it should your car will run hot. To check your temperature sender disconnect the plug from the sender and test it using an ohm meter. When the engine is cold you should have infinite resistance. Then run the engine until it gets warm. Shut off the motor. Disconnect the plug from your temperature sender and check the resistance again. It should no longer be infinite ( see your repair manual for the correct reading).
If the tires are properly balanced plug tires should not cause a vibration.

should be the same temperature as your thermostat rating...generally around 190 to 195 degrees.
Your car's operating temperature should be 192 degrees.
AnswerThe transmission needs to be at operating temperature. With the engine running and in park, remove the plug. it is located under the car, near where the right axle comes out of the tranny. Remove the plug and the fluid should be level with the hole, so add fluid till it comes out. This should be done on a hoist. If you do it in the driveway, you are probly using jack stands and the car wont be level, so you will over fill it, not good.
Read the owner's manual. There is a plug where the dipstick used to be. The car needs to be raised and needs to be level. You have to get under car and look for a plug on transmission. Should be adjacent to oil drain plug. Remove plug and Fluid should drip out if fluid level is correct. First answer is not mine eugene11walk
Go to autozone and ask them to diagnose it. Your car is a 1996, it should have an OBDII, which means they'll just plug it in.
A mechanic of my car told me that it should between 180 nd 200 degrees.
Looking from under the car, there is a check plug on the transmission. Have to remove the plug, the oil should just drip out, if not, add to the level of the plug only.
