Hi,I have a 1999 Continental and it uses high test
I have had a 1994 Lincoln Continental for many years and always have used 87 octane gas (Regular). That is what the manual calls for.
On a 1997 Lincoln Continental : If the gas tank was empty ( 17.8 U.S. gallons )
2mpg
Premium unleaded , 91 octane or higher ( according to the 1996 Lincoln Continental Owner Guide )
if efi and better then 4.6l runs best on premium yes i know gas prices but best reponse and sound for sure. i agree.
remove the gas tank
maybe 10 mpg on a good day.
mine weighs 5600lbs with half tnk of gas
20 U.S. gallons ( 75.6 liters )
Most likely, a bad fuel sending unit.
its located on top of your gas tank which has to be dropped down for acess
" premium " unleaded , 91 octane or higher ( according to the Owner Guide )
