Although the line at 180° passes right through Fiji, the International Date Line at that latitude is relocated to the east sides of Western Samoa and Tonga. I don't know how many miles that is, but it's at least 6° of longitude east of 180°.
(Western Samoa relocated the International Date Line to its east side in December, 2011, less than seven months before the time of this writing.)

Tonga, while physically located in the Western Hemisphere, is actually considered in the Eastern Hemisphere for purposes of calculating the date. The international date line, which normally runs along the 180th line of longitude, swings in an easterly direction around Tonga and then back to the 180th line of longitude.

The islands of Fiji are on both sides the Anti-meridian (-180 and +180 longitude) but the International Date Line (IDL) is bent to give uniform time (UTC+12) to all of the Fiji group. This makes Fiji a very interesting region to map makers.
Much of England lies on the prime meridian which is 180 degrees from the international date line. Eire lies slightly to the west of the prime meridian
