well, i have a pet rabbit and a pet rat and the rabbit is alot harder! the rat doesn't need too much attention. the rabbit needs to get played with everyday and needs to be cleaned every 2 days.
No rabbit normally needs shots. However, if you are showing your rabbit it could possibly need shots to be shown.
A rabbit actually cannot handle too many carrots as it is like sugar to them. A rabbit needs lots of hopping room (the cages that allow for two steps is not sufficient). It also needs lots of vegetables (lettuce is good) and grains as well. Hay is another beneficial thing for a rabbit as it cleans out their system, but make sure it is not sprayed with chemicals. They also need water! A hanging water bottle is always a good idea.
