What three physical regions does the Nile River flow through?
The Nile River is the longest river in the world. It flows through the Sahara desert, African Savannas, and the Great Lakes region of Africa.
Assam State has three principal physical regions. The largest is the Brahmaputra River valley in the north. Then, the Barak River (upper Surma River) valley in the south. The hilly region between Meghalaya (to the west), and Nagaland and Manipur (to the east) is in the south-central section of the state.
