Need to know how to fix headlight doors on a 1989 Chrysler Lebaron only close halfway or not at all open all the way the rods are intact?

You need a new motor for your headlight doors. The old motor is dying. You can purchase inexpensive motors from the junkyard.

No spark 1991 1.8L ford escort what should be done to fix problem?

Ok - check your timing belt to make sure its intact. Take the distributor cap off and turn the crank manually to be sure the rotor is turning (this will show if your timing belt is intact). Also, is there power to your distributor? Did the car break down suddenly or was it gradual over time?

How do you know if crank shaft is broke?

A broken crankshaft on a Continental Gasoline fueled truck engine from the 1940s and 50s would begin knocking like a failed connecting rod and continue to run for about 20 to 40 minutes. (great for a fire truck) A Chrysler built 2.2 the easy diag is that the timing belt is intact but does not move when rolling the engine over on the starter. Most engines will have little or no compression and resistance to the starter turning the engine, on closer examination it will be found the camshafts are not turning. After removing the oil pan it will be obvious.

Where is the oxygen sensor located on 1995 Chrysler LeBaron?

The 1995 Lebaron came with the 3.0L V6 engine only. The oxygen sensor is behind and below the engine low to the firewall. Removal of the air filter box is necessary to access the sensor. A specific O-sensor socket with a slit in the side is used to install the sensor without damaging the wires. If you are not keeping the old O-sensor wires intact then use a regular deep-set 7/8in socket to remove the sensor if the slit-socket spreads to much to remove it. Just cut the wires off so the regular socket fits over the sensor. Fun, Huh?

How do you spell intact?

Intact is correct.

If the timing belt goes out on a 96 escort LX can it hurt the engine?

yes, if the timing belt breaks the pistons can hit the valves causeing the valves to bend, or causeing a hole in the piston(s) eather way the engine would need to be completely rebuilt. the same damage could be caused by trying to start the engine without the timing belt intact,

Where is the ECM computer on a 1988 Chrysler Fifth Avenue?

It is on the air cleaner. If the sticker is still intact it will say "electronic spark control", or "electronic fuel control" on it. It will have a vacuum line plugged in to it, and a couple of wire harnesses.

When should I change my BMW 740 timing chain?

I asked a service rep at Classic BMW in Plano that question and he said "never". The 740 has a timing chain, not a timing belt. Cars with timing belts usually have to change it every 80-100k miles, but this does not apply to timing chains. If your timing chain is intact, you should not have to have it replaced. Chains do not stretch or wear out. More likely, if you have a E38 (1994-2001), the timing chain may rattle, which is NOT an indication of a problem with the timing chain. There is a timing chain tensioner that loses its ability over time to apply proper tension to the chain, and that is a relatively easy and inexpensive replacement. Another well-known problem is that you may eventually need to replace the timing chain GUIDES, which is plastic and can wear and break off over time.
