In past experience I either took the shifter out of park put it in drive, then firmly put it back in park then try and turn off and remove key. The other is possibly your ignition tumbler is loose like our 1998 in that case you have to be gentle and try to slide the key while giving it a little jingle. I'm not kidding, we really have to do that! Good Luck!
