a) Steal something he/she treasures and let them see how they feel about it. b) Explain that personal integrity is priceless to the person who has it and to steal something is selling their priceless integrity for the cost of the item sold - they are cheating themselves for more then anyone else. c) Enforce consequences (discipline) of sufficient severity that they choose to not steal any more. d) show them you are attentive to them and you care for them as a person - stealing may be just to get your attention. e) Find a church you like and start taking the whole family to church at least once a week - God will help melt their hearts and fulfill their souls so they will no longer like the idea of stealing. God is everything or God is nothing, what shall your choice be? I have prayed for you and your child.
