This is a classic example of how strange our society is; that someone moving up to 5TH GRADE, feels enough social pressure to think they have to look a certain way. 5th Grade!
Here's what you do my friend:
-Dress in the way that makes you feel comfortable that also abides by the rules (if there are any)
-Be yourself, focus on studying, having fun, making friends and being happy, young and carefree!
Plus: Drop this idea that just because you're moving up a school year, you therefore have to change yourself in some way. If you focus on the things I mentioned earlier then the change will happen naturally.
