One town (I am sure there are others of course) that I have found in many states is Henderson. Being a Simpsons fan, Springfield is a town/city that can be found in a number of states. According to Russell Ash's book The Top 10 of Everything 2000, the ten most common U.S. town names include Fairview, followed in order by Midway, Oak Grove, Franklin and Riverside (tied), Centerville, Mount Pleasant, Georgetown, Salem and Greenwood. Others include Auburn, Durham, Augusta and Greene. Ovid, Romulus, London, Ithaca, Janis, Oklahoma City, Beverly Hills.
