Dextron II--ATF
Dextron-II
It uses DEXTRON III automatic trans fluid.
You must use-- DEXRON III Trans. fluid
where you check your trans fluid you have to use a funnel tho you don't want trans fluid all over Ur engine compartment
A 2004 Chevy Tracker uses standard Dextron ATF transmission fluid. This transmission fluid is used extensively among Chevy automatic transmissions.
Yeah, but, I would use the Chevy trans, as well. You will have to fabricate everything.
The manual transmission uses Mercon. i have 1998 s10 with 5 speed trans i was told to use syncromesh trans fluid
Use TranSynd licensed by Dextron 3 product
Any DOT 3 fluid. Brand makes no difference.
Dextron 2 If your trans is manual... the manufacturer recommends Synchromesh Transmission fluid (MTF) GM 12345349. Which is available a your typical auto parts store and of course the Chevy dealer.
More than likely Dexron 3. Check your owners manual or call a GM dealer to be 100% sure. Most GM vehicles tell you what type of trans fluid to use on the trans dipstick itself.
Automatic? Read the information on the transmission dip stick, it will tell you what type of fluid to use. Standard? Use Mercon.
