I have a 1992 Eagle Summit ES hatchback. I bought the car with the original manual book. The recommended trans fluid (automatic trans) is ATF type "F", this is because the A/T does not use "friction modifiers" that are in the common "dexron" Auto trans fluid used in most cars (Ford, chev, etc).
Use type "F" to keep your A/T shifting hard and gripping!
