Will a 304 engine fit in a 1998 TJ jeep wrangler?
No. Besides, K series transmissions aren't nearly as good as B series transmissions.
The Chevy 283 engine has the standard bellhousing configuration and is compatible with transmissions that bolt to first generation small blocks. The automatic TH350 transmission will fit the 283 engine.
Cruise-o-matic, Ford-o-matic, or C4
No not even close. Chevy redesigned the engine and transmissions in late 1999
Not easily. The 5.2 and 4.7 use different transmissions.
I have researched this question to an extent and according to what I have found, if you have a 3.0 engine the transmission out of another ford with a 3.0 engine only will fit.
No it will not. Chevy changed the design and bolt pattern in 1999. On the engine and transmissions.
Yes, all auto transmissions from 89 to 98 are the same for the 240sx and are interchangeable.
all 700r4 transmissions that have cable driven speedometers and are 2 wheel drive will fit all 700r4 transmissions that have cable driven speedometers and are 2 wheel drive will fit
In short, the answer is "No." The longer version is that while they will bolt up, the transmissions for the V6 are made with different ratios than the transmissions for the 4-cylinders. The computers for the engines are programmed for the "right" transmissions, and I seriously doubt the driveability would be acceptable.
Yes. The H22a and H23a motors can interchange transmissions.
