I consulted with a Marine before answering this question. Not all people would agree with me but, according to the Marine, the Battle of Stalingrad and The Battle of the Bulge would be considered turning points in the European Theater of World War Two. Hitler's forces became split, did not have enough supplies or food or the proper equipment with which to wage war. Hitler's strategies failed greatly since he refused to listen to his generals and advisers. Even though The Battle of the Bulge was the bloodiest for the Allies it was still a war loser for the Germans. I have included some links for your research.
