all golden comets are sex link hybrids, not all sex link hybrids are golden comets. Golden comets are the result of breeding a white rock hen with a New Hampshire red. you could use a Rhode Island red. It really gets deep into genetics like, dominant silver factors and recessive factors. its confusing. but a white rock hen is the mama, some kinda red feller is the daddy. that's about it. The point is, their off spring are color sexable. meaning all the girls (layers) are going to stand out from the cockerels (boys) which are useless to an egg farmer.
