yes for the 2.9 litres i just put one in a a4ld auto tranny that is
Dexron or Mercon III or one that is compatible with those two types. Power steering takes Type F Transmission fluid.
Mercon
Dex\Merc
look on sticker on door tells u what type
The Ford Bronco transmission can use any SAE certified transmission fluid. Ford transmissions manufactured before 1979 will need an F type transmission fluid.
what type of fluids dose a 1992 ford bronco 4 * 4 take in the rear end and transfer case and the tranny and the front end
E4OD. Electronic 4 Speed with OverDrive.
I'd suggest using a Dextron III/Mercon automatic transmission fluid.
You should be running 10W-30, In a 300 / 302 / 351.
aod (C4)
Type F automatic transmission fluid meets or exceeds all lincoln, ford, and mercury type automatic transmissions regardless of year. Brands are a mercon V or Halvoline.
Dexron 3 is prefered.
