ATF+4 is generally the fluid required by Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Jeep/Mopar vehicles. Some of the older Chryslers and Dodges call for ATF+3, but I do not know that it can still be found in auto part stores. The ATF+4 is newer, better, and supercedes the ATF+3. The back of the container of automatic Transmission Fluid should read something along the lines of "Approved for use in Chrysler vehicles." My only recommendation on the side is that if the vehicle has over 75,000 miles on it, I would not recommend going with the synthetic (man-made) fluid. While the properties are better than those of a conventional ATF, it also tends to find the leaks in seals and seep through easier, thereby enhancing your leaks. For my purposes and what I use and recommend is a high-mileage ATF - essentially a conventional ATF but with additional sealants and detergents over the strictly conventional. Bottom line - High Mileage ATF+4 Hope this helps!
