An Elite Light Vehicle is a special type of Elite known as a BOB. These BOB's appear randomly on every mission and appear for a very brief moment, so you need to be fast to kill one. They are normally shown as a Orange/Gold Ranger on Normal Difficulty, but can also been seen as Specialist type, General, Field Marshall Types and the rarest the White General BOB, probably the most difficult BOB to kill. You also gain a Bungie.net Medal called Seek and destroy.
