I have a 86' w/ manual trans & have had to do this already... You would use regular Transmission Fluid, but there is no tranny line that comes up through to the engine to fill by funnel... you have to jack up the car. Undernieth on the transmission it's self, there should be 2 SQUARE bolts, 1 on the bottom for draining. The other should be located just on the side of the tranny, this is the one that you would remove to syphn/pump the ATF into. Fill until fluid level is at ridge of bolt hole, then replace bolt. *Use 12 point socket to remove bolt, make sure snug fit so does not strip* If you have any other ?'s here's my e-mail... niccib69@msn.com
Should be a plug on the side of transmission

Passenger side rear of engine
You use gear oil in the standard tranny. According to the 1995 Chevy Camaro Owner's Manual Page 7-50 Part D: Recommended Fluids and Lubricants. Manual Transmissions take "DEXRON -III Automatic Transmission Fluid" http://www.f-bodyhideout.com/techman/1995camaro.pdf
it takes 5 quarts of mercron decron111
For a 1995 manual transmission grand am, the fluid capacity is 2.0 quarts for a complete drain and refill. The fluid type is 80W90 transmission oil.
Yes
The 1995 Chevrolet Camaro headlight assembly diagram can be found in the Haynes repair manual. This book can be found at auto parts and book stores as well as your local library.
It would be best for you to buy a Haynes Manual as it will have everything you will need to do the repair.
manual trannys dont have fill plugs, most trannys dont have fluid of any kind
According to the owner's manual, you should use 75W-90 for the transmission (and 80W-90 for the rear end) if the ambient temperature is less than 104 degrees F (or 40 degrees C).
Read your owner's manual. This information can be found there.
