Honda F22C1 engine found in the S2000.
The Honda S2000 has 2 motors depending on the year and region that is was made in. For US models made between the year 2000 to early 2005 It had the F20C motor which red lined at 9,000rpm's. For US models mid 2005- May 2009 it came with the F22C motor which red lined at 8,500rpm's. The final "Ultimate" 2009 S2000's made only in Europe came with the F20C motor.
Are you planning to convert your Accord to RWD? The S2000 has a longitudinal motor. The Accord has a transverse motor. It would not be easy.
no, a F22 motor is a accord motor or a Honda s2000 motor
The Honda S2000 is a roadster that was manufactured by the Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company. The Honda S2000 uses a four cylinder gasoline engine.
simply because its not an STI.What you can do is sell it and get a Honda type r or s2000....or even a 1998-2000 civic v tec and drop in a b20z motor to get 150+ kw
Any motor you can possibly think of! V8 conversions to Honda S2000 motors
s2000 would hammer it
i drive an s2000. with equal driving, i would say a 350z has a very slight edge over an s2000 if both are stock. throw an engine chip or an intake in an s2000 and it is just about equal from my experience.
it depends on what you think is more important. s2000 only has two seats, but is faster and lighter, and covertible, both can be upgraded for horsepower and speed. but s2000 has more potential. you choose. i have an s2000.
I am unsure about this so don't quote me directly, but I believe you can't put an s2000 engine in an accord. I know inter-Honda engine swaps are common, but they all seem to be of the FWD variety. The S2000's engine is situated differently as it is a RWD vehicle, so I would imagine an engine swap would entail a whole drivetrain swap as well.
None. The S2000 did not exists in 1993.
The S2000 takes 5.1 Quarts of Oil.
No other plants outside of Japan manufacture the s2000.
