i have a 4cylndr 99 old alero gx and it requires 5w30
4.5 quarts with new oil filter
i just put some 24" sony steros in my alero
7 qts refill for auto trans 13 qts if you drain the torque converter too
You usually use 4, however mine has always gotten 5. I have 200,000 miles so it cant hurt anything.
depends if you have a 2.2 L engine then it takes about 4 quarts and i usually put 5 quarts in my 3.4L V-6 SFI.
5w30, full synthetic if you want a better oil. may want a different weight if you live in an area with climate extremes.
any platinum plugs will fine. they come stock platinum so best to put back in. brand preference will be up to u i have Bosch in mine
If you are wanting to change your oil and don't know how to get it out, you use an oil pan. to get the oil out, go underneath your securely elevated car and look for a square box under there (metal in the components) it should be in the front, middleish, slightly behind your motor. To make sure it's the right box, look for a small screw on the back edge (this is for the 2004 oldsmobile alero) you'll need a wrench, but make sure to put your chest below the screw and your oil pan on top of your chest. or else you will get oil all over yourself. The oil filter is in the front side of the box. btw my directions are as the car drives (forward is front)
The type of oil one can use in a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass is either 10 W 30 or 20w-50. This oil can be purchased at any auto parts store.
How do I take the back panel off
if its got a 3.5 you need 6 qts.
where is the access code? you have to have your access code or the CD player wont work
