SAE.30 WT dont use a detergent typr oil, like 10w40 it will make the piston bearing wear out quicker.

Any 2-stroke mower type will serve.
Motor oil. DO NOT USE VEGETABLE OIL!! (personal experience)
That will depends on the manufacturer and model of transaxle that is under the mower.

You will need to find out what make the transaxle is. If it is a hydro-gear (which is very common in Craftsman mowers) it take 20W50.

Go to www.searspartsdirect.com, and type in model # 143.033700 That is the engine specified for that mower. You can then choose between engine, carb, starter, etc. diagrams and parts lists.
Whenever you purchase a push mower you have to realize that it needs a higher grade oil. You should use a higher standard type of oil.
Neither of those companies make their own engines. Most engines will changes from one mower to another with minor adjustments as long as they are the same type engine. If they are both the same size and make engines then there should be no trouble.
