Most any "High Quality" oil (Honda, Castrol, Valvoline, Spectro) will work fine as long as it is the right "Viscosity" for the temperature in which you are operating your ATV in. The most versitile viscosity I have found in the climate I ride is SAE 10W40 it will work well from (minus) -10F to +105F. The oils NOT recommended for use are: API SH or higherdisplaying a circular API "Energy Conserving" label on the container. These may affect lubrication and clutch performance. Also NEVER use "Non-Detergent, vegetable or castor based racing oils.
Thanks RJHonda sells a brand of oil you can buy at any Honda dealer (GN4) or you can use Valvoline 10W 40
10-40, 10-30, depends on your climate, for a colder climate use 10-40 for a warmer use 10-30
You should use GN4 4-Stroke Motor Oil 10W-30 or 10W-40
You should use any moly free oil that is approved for motorcycles and ATVs such as 15-40 W JASO MA or MA2 or SAE F or G grades.
