Owner's manual. The brand is your choice. I've had 2 saturns a 94' SL2 and a 02' Sl2 and both used 5W30. I believe GM recommends 5W30 for all it's cars. "Owners Manual" LAME LAME LAME. Perhaps people are looking on this site BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE AN OWNERS MANUAL!! Telling people to get an owners manual is not a lame answer. If everyone had an owners manual there would be far less questions. Everyone needs an owners manual for more than just knowing what type oil to use. There is a Maintenance Schedule in the owners manual that you need to follow to the letter if you want that expensive automobile to last a long time. I am amazed that anyone would own a car and not have an owners manual. It is so very easy to acquire one. Dealer, salvage yard, on-line manuals, and on-line sites that sell manuals. I say again, get yourself an owners manual and you want be on here asking questions, where the answer can be found in your owners manual. I would also recommend highly for anyone a Chiltons or Haynes manual. I prefer the Chiltons. Owners manuals for sure but if you really want to get into it yourself, these provide all the teardowns and rebuilds.
