Pearl Harbor was an airel assault carried out by Japanese troops. Navy sailors fought the Japanese with the guns on their battleshisp and destoryers. US fighters were used also.
Two Japanese planes were catapulted from heavy cruisers accompanying the carrier task force about a half hour before the first assault wave began launching. These were float planes, of the type carried by battleships and heavy cruisers of both the Japanese and US Navy. Their usual purpose was to scout for their mother ship, and to spot the fall of its shots and correct its aim by radio when engaging enemy targets. They were blasted off from short catapults on the ship. When their mission was over they landed on the water beside the ship and were hoisted back aboard by crane.

Technically None. No planes flew direct from Japan - it was far too far. The attack on Pearl Harbour was launched by 353 aircraft from 6 Japanese carriers in two waves. Aircraft were a mixture of Divebombers, Fighters and Torpedo Bombers. There were also some midget subs if I recall.

Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese on 12/7/41. Of 8 battleships there 5 were sunk. In addition the other three were damaged, the minelayer Oglala capsized and sank and the old battleship Utah capsized and sank. Many aircraft, both army and navy were destroyed. The Japanese lost only 29 Planes. It was a military defeat.
Pearl Harbor was a naval base, and was classified as a lagoon harbor.
The movie Pearl Harbor falls into three categories: Action, Drama, and Romance.
The Japanese initiated the war and at the start had very little to endure. This was in contrast to the cruel and barbaric conditions they imposed on people they had invaded or captured.
The Mitsubishi A6M [Type 0 Model 11 ] Zero was powered by a 950 hp Nakajima Sakae 12 radial engine.
They were shocked and their first action was to flee or take a few shots. -Alexa Most of them got in the airplanes or grabbed the closest AK47 or Machine Gun and just fired away at the Japanese bombers. And the weak spineless type fled. No offense to anyone!! Sm@rtGirl!!In response to the attach on Pearl Harbor, the United States went to war against the Japanese Empire.
Yea! On Google.com or anything else where you can see images. Just type in Pearl Harbor attack, December 7, 1941, or day of infamy
