Disposable refrigerant containers are only used for virgin refrigerant.
Freon' is a brand name for 'refrigerant', the type of refrigerant used on early 1990 Honda Civics was R-12. Now a license is required for someone to properly charge the system so many owners have switched to R-134a.
R12, which is very expensive. Have it changed over to a newer refrigrant.
It is R134a. Please under NO circumstances use the refrigerant that has stop leak added. If you have to take it to a repair shop and need repairs, it will ruin the equipment that is used to recover the refrigerant. Also, you need to be exact in the amount that is in the system. There should be a sticker under the hood with all of the information on it.
Originally R-12 Should be converted to R134

Unless it has been converted to R134, the OEM refrigerant installed in 1991 was R12 Freon. I suggest you have it converted to R134 if it has not already been done.
