This previous answer is correct i have a 2000 Alero and it does not have a tranny dipstick, its an automaic and they call this tranny a sealed for life set up, there is a filler cap to add fluid but to check it i suggest take it to dealer or try to see if u can see any fluid near the top of filler tube reservor. as long as u have no leaks from tranny it should not need fluid and if u think it does it wont need much as long as there are no leaks, TONY, Indpls, IN..
