In all cases, with no exceptions, you ought to use Mopar ATF+3 fluid (MS7176E) in your Chrysler vehicle, including the 1993-1997 Eagle Vision.
Never fill with Mercon or Dexron transmission fluids. Never. Chrysler transmissions are not engineered to use those.
The newest ATF+4 should also be considered.
The Center for Quality Assurance, which Chrysler uses to run its ATF+4 licensing program, writes: "The previous MOPAR ATF+3® formulation was discontinued in 2005 and ATF+4® is recommended for all transmissions filled with ATF+3®."
