The last two ones: Thiabendazole, Imazil are fungicides into the bananas take a bath before to be packing for export.
In average they put 26 to 30 kilos of pesticides by hectare and spray them by plane every week (Costa Rica) one week on two (in Ecuador). In Ecuador the workers cannot quit their work station during the aerian spray.

There are actually a few different preservatives in bananas. These preservatives include thiabendazole, mazalil, myclobutanil, and azoxystrobin. You will need to look for bananas that are marked as organic to not have preservatives in them.
Cyfluthrin, cypermethrin, dialdrin, methamedophos, methylparathian, and monocrotophos are examples of pesticides whose residue may be found on mangoes.
Specifically, the above-mentioned pesticides can be applied to control insect pests. Their application controls fruit flies, mango hoppers, mealybugs, termites, thrips and tip borers. They represent non-organic controls of mango pests whereas HOC-4n1 is an organic spray which also functions as a foliar fertilizer, fungicide, insecticide and repellent.
I have the same problem with bananas...I figured out that the skin on the banana is thinner when ripe so the banana absorbes the liquid in the skin...the skin of a banana can have pesticides on it so you may be allergic to the pesticides and not the actual banana. Just a theory.
Yes, bananas are treated with pesticides, and their skin should not be eaten.
Many types of pesticides are known; for detail see this link; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pesticide#Types.
Pesticides can affect life in many different ways. Pesticides help farmers increase their crop production. Pesticides can kill many types of insects and animals.
Pesticides are used in order to kill insects. If insects get on some types of vegetation, it can kill it.
Pesticides come from out the air by all types of chemicals mixed up together
there different types of pesticides that pollute the murray river but the most important are dogs.
I don't put my bananas in bags. Bananas will ripen with out a bag.
No. Pheromones are attractants (often sexual) that bring pests to a trap where they are killed using pesticides or mechanically.
Strawberries are grown from plant runners, they are not grown from seeds. There are no pesticides put on strawberry seeds to grow strawberries.
An example sentence for pesticides would be...I watched the farmer put pesticides on his plants so it would kill insectsOr something like that!Don't pesticides kill insects?
Yes.
