What unanswered questions remain regarding fixing something that is broken in America?

This is a talking point for all of the politicians in the public view. To me, this is the easiest way to lead people to fear and division. Asking a question does not mean it is logically a really good thing. It has always been true that things can be better and that it takes effort and political will of our Elected Officials to make the laws that improve the processes and procedures. In some cases, they are talking about settled law (abortions), bringing back religion (settled law that government is blind to religion; separation of religion and state), bringing back the old days (without social security, medicare, desegration?), taxes (really more now than ever?) and other topics. Even the best ideas of Immigration, migrants, healthcare, budget and military might during an election will probably be unattainable in the reality of the knowledge (and political will) once in the position.
