In 1910, Loos finished the Goldman & Salatsch Building, in Michaelerplatz, Vienna (known colloquially as the "Looshaus") This building was his largest site design and one of the most controversial, as it was built across Michaelerplatz from the prestigious Imperial palace which was occupied at that time by Franz Josef.
