The British fought the French.
Sort of. He was a young British officer when asked to escort a French diplomat and while doing this the man was killed by an Native American that was part of the party. Washington was blamed for the death because he was in charge and even though he couldn't speak or read French he signed a confession in French admitting to the death.
One thing he did was leading the British army to its victory at fort Duquesne, renamed Fort Pitt after the Secretary state. hope this helped a little, i'm doing a report on the French and Indian war.
The British payed little attention to the colonies and how they were doing until they started growing and becoming a major source for trade and wealth. Not until 1763 did the era end when Britain was in huge debt from the French and Indian War.
The name comes from the fact that Indian tribes (Native Americans) were fighting for the French against the British, who were encroaching on the tribal lands. Actually, many tribes resented the French as well, and sided with the British and colonials. The French and Indian War was the first war that started in North America and spread to Europe. It involved the French based in Canada on one side against the British based in New England and the middle colonies on the other side. While Indians fought on both sides, the French were often more successful at not antagonizing the natives, and so the vast majority of the native auxiliaries involved were on the French side. From a British American point of view, the colonists were fighting against the French and the Indians, hence the name 'French and Indian War'. In Europe and elsewhere, it was and still is known as the Seven Years War.One cause of the war was that both the British and the French claimed the vast territory between the Appalachian Mountains and the Mississippi River. The French were doing well by trapping and by trading furs with the Indians, and they feared being displaced by British settlers.

british success in the french and indian war
A majority of the settlers not only brought diseases because of their filth (that the Indians were not immune to), but also brought starvation and poverty due to their greed for fashionable animal skins, greed for unique Indian possessions, and introduction of alchoholic beverage to the Indians. To the Indians the Americans were greedy and selfish barbarians who came to destroy them and take their land. Incidentally, scalping was also introduced by the British during the French and Indian war as a means of verification that the Indians were doing their job of killing the French.
Sitting around, hating the British, writing novels, building golden palaces, you know, the usual French stuff. The question is rather vague. You might want to try being more specific.
The UK wanted to see the Monarchy restored in France.
It is because the British army was to good and Militia doesn't know to much of what they were doing
