Emily Geiger was famous because she delivered a message from General Nathanael Greene to General Sumpter the message was about General Nathanael Greene needing troops scince th British may catch her she did not only bring a written messsage but also memorized the message on the first day of riding she was not caught but on the second day the british stopped her to be questioned but scince she was a new spy and not very good at lieing they took her to a country side home they left her in there she had to think quickly she tore up the message and ate it so when they came to search her and found nothing they let her go free
