Martin Luther King's early life was one of happiness when he was with his family. Him and his siblings received an education which was considered a high privilege for African-Americans in his time. He learned arts such as playing the piano and enjoyed European vacations with his parents. He was not sheltered from the prejudices of his time though which instilled a passion for fighting for equality for everyone.
